Known for the development of the first "long practice chanter" George Alexander was a bagpipe maker with aconnection to Henry Starck. Red more about them on Ron Bowen's Bagpipe Museum site.
The chanter has some scratches and wear, but no visible cracks. The mouthpiece is original turned wood that has (probably) gone soft from playing and then shortened. This would be a great vintage chanter for a shorter person!
Canadian postage include in the price.
