This vintage Lawrie chanter looks to be from the late 1960s or 1970s. African blackwood with R.G. Lawrie stamp, and has the "By Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen" crest on it, although it is not 100% clear any longer. No cracks or chips, although someone did grind a line into the back of the chanter for proper thumb placement! Comes with 2 original reeds from the era, one plastic and one cane.
