Fred Morrison is not only a virtuoso performer on multiple kinds of pipes and whistles, but also one of the acknowledged great composers of the modern era. His tunes are being played and interpreted by some of the best soloists, bands and Celtic bands, and the reason they play them is because of the immediate freshness and appeal of the melody, combined with unique technical challenges. This collection includes many o the tunes that have featured in his concerts over the last couple of years, including tunes for Highland pipes, uilleann pipes and Low D whistle.
