Many people like the black-waxed hemp, and it is good for joints and general hemping of pipes where moisture is not a consideration. The black waxed hemp is not as good as yellow waxed hemp, and is not a substitute for applying actual black wax to hemp for bridles and starting grip on the wood. (Recommendation: unless you really love this, go for the yellow!)

Note on Shipping/Postage

UPDATE: We are delivering in Canada and the USA without issue, and for about the same cost. Larger orders (size/weight) will cost more going courier, but on the bright side, you should get them faster.  As always, we strive to give you the best service for the most reasonable price and we'll be in touch if we need to adjust postage up or down based on what the website has charged.
