Adrian Melvin is well-known worldwide as a piper, having played with many bands, including the Vale of Athol, 78th Fraser Highlanders, LA Scots, and also with Australia's Victoria Poilce when they won the World Pipe Band Championship in 1998. He currently lives in the USA, where he makes reeds and teaches piping.

These reeds are precision crafted, and made to sound great in the most popular modern chanters. The ScottishPower Pipe Band currently play the Melvin reed.
