Fred Morrison is not only a virtuoso performer on multiple kinds of pipes and whistles, but also one of the acknowledged great composers of the modern era. His tunes are being played and interpreted by some of the best soloists, bands and Celtic bands, and the reason they play them is because of the immediate freshness and appeal of the melody, combined with unique technical challenges.
