This is in very good condition, with soft leather covers and a ribbon marker. Given as an oratory prize in 1920, this volume contains the poems, ballads, songs and verses of Sir Walter Scott, the famous Scottish author.

Scott's interest in the history and lore of Scotland did a lot to put in place the romantic notions of Highland culture that pervaded after the visit of King George IV to Edinburgh in 1822.

928 pages. Size: 7.5" x 5.25" (19 x 13cm)
