R.R McIan 1803 - 1856

Robert Ronald McIan was an actor and a painter and with his friend James Logan, used those skills to produce The Clans of the Scottish Highlands. They also collaborated on a book about the Highlanders, called "McIan's Highlanders at Home."

These cards were originally produced by the Scottish Tartans Authority, and are in very good, unused condition. They show some signs of aging in colour, but are essentially new condition. They are on very solid card stock, and measure 6" x 8".
