Twisted Thistle "Medallist" Bass Drum Mallets

Twisted Thistle products are made by Mike Cole, well-known bass drum performer, teacher and adjudicator from Chicago. The sticks are used by some of the World's top bands, including Inveraray and District and Shotts and Dykehead Caledonia.

Twisted Thistle Medalists are well-balanced bass drum mallets that are designed to provide excellent tone and playing comfort.They are lightweight sticks with incredible balance, definition, and power.

A three-foam system allows for a clean, deep, and rich tone without overdriving the drum at higher volumes. The Sugar Maple handle is lathe-turned and is designed for comfort and maximum stick control.

The Medalists are slightly softer and provide a deep and definitive sound on the drum.
