I purchased this set of pipes in an antique shop in Rothesay in 2024. They were purchased and played by a local resident in the Rothesay Pipe Band of the day, and they'd been sitting unused for many years.

The pipes are not stamped, but match the mount and turning style of Hector Russell pipes on The Bagpipe Museum website. They had the original cover and cords, with a Hector Russell label on the cover. All the parts are original to the pipes, and there appear to be no cracks or flaws.

These pipes are likely the work of Jack Dunbar when he worked for Hector Russell, made in the style of Henderson bagpipes of the day.
