The Trap Dri moisture control trap has been developed to prevent excess water escaping from your water trap and saturating your pipe bag.
The Trap Dri unit can be fitted to your existing water trap tube (20 -23mm) or can be installed directly into larger 19mm internal tube and does not require a zip bag as it can slip through almost any split stock or can be purchased as part of a full drying system for use in zip bags.
With Trap Dri installed you will obtain a vastly reduced level of moisture into your bag.

Using a unique combination of air pressure and water flow to draw the water into the Trap Dri unit the water then becomes trapped and can’t make its way to the end of your tube where it can escape through the holes, resulting in better bagpipe performance.
Using Trap Dri will prolong the life of your sheepskin or other animal skin bag by drastically reducing the amount of water your bag has to absorb.
In either animal skin or synthetic bag you will obtain a steady balance of moisture meaning your pipes will remain in tune longer and can be played longer than before. “Spend your time practicing tunes, not tuning”.
The Trap Dri is virtually maintenance free. Simply remove every few weeks to clean.
