First published in 1987, this book is 42 pages of description, exercises, rudiments, and almost another 50 pages of drum scores. The legendary Alex Duthart is thought by many to be the greatest pipe band snare drummer of all time, and was instrumental in bringing pipe band snare drumming forward in terms of technique and musicality.
All the major drumming names of today owe a debt to Alex Duthart, and his many excellent compositions are in use today around the world.
