When Fred Morrison released his Outlands CD, the piping and traditional music worlds were blown away—so to speak—by Fred's seamless blend of pipes with other styles of music. This included new tunes such as "Kansas City Hornpipe" and Fred's re-interpretation of classics such as Tom Anderson's "Train Journey North," which was a popular band medley tune in the late 1970s and early '80s, and which super-band Field Marshal Montgomery used to finish one their World's-winning medleys.
Here are all the tunes from the Outlands album, arranged variously for Highland pipes and whistle/uilleann pipes, and notated as Fred played them.
